Foster parent needs help?

I just started being an foster parent and had a placement for 4 days, in new york and i found out the previous people/ family members had the child, take her to ER and doctors found the child had fraction skull. know i have allegation/ against me for abuse! do anyone know if i need a an attorney to protection my certification or trust my case worker and don't worry.
