Is the patriot movie scary/too bloody?

no its too bad there is a scene when mel gibson and his too sons shoot a a few red coats trying to free heath ledger and at the end it get a bit graphic but other then that it isnt too bad, you should be fine. we watched it in my school and the girls didnt get too grossed out by it.
