For the past 2000 yrs Iran didnt attack any country, Israel attacked all its neighbors, who is more evil?

It all boils down to the reasoning of these two nations. Why has Israel had to "attack" or defend itself from it's neighbor nations? What is the ideology of the soon to be totalitarian regime of Iran? The point is., Israel is in essence a peaceful nation that just wants to be left alone. Once Iran has nuclear weaponry, there is no doubt that they would use it as a bargaining chip to become the world's largest superpower while also using their ties with OPEC to starve the rest of the planet of valuable resources.
