How would you feel if Motoko Kusanagi is your mother?

I know it's just an anime, but out of curiousity, let just take a moment and think about it. Will she beat her own son/daughter just like those bad guys (uming you did something bad)? How strong is the bond between mother and child? In the series, she seems to have pretty hot-temper. :)
